What do we mean...by...Scale? Look at the chart below for the size of your model ? In the model car industry we refer to the size in scale meaning that if we put 18 model replicas and lay them in a straight line then this would be the length of a real car so this we would call a 1:18 scale model and it is best to talk this way with questions and so this would be 30 cm long and about 12 cms wide and 10 cms high - but remember, a motorbike in real life is shorter then a car and so it is too in this industry the same principal....and a top fuel car is much longer then the average holden
